I'm Stuck On *R*

Over on the House on Hill Road blog I found a picture of one of her walls that has sent me in an Ebay/Etsy frenzy. Maybe you can guess why....No I haven't been on the hunt for H's, I've been looking for R's! Now my collection isn't as large as this one, but i've been at it for at least a year, and let me tell you, it's hard to find them! Or at least it's hard to find ones that I like. This is what I've got so far. What do you think?

I've got a couple of favorites in there of course, but for the most part, I heart them all for their own reasons. I've gotten a few off of ebay and a couple from Etsy, including my absolute favorite of the group(smallish wire one near the middle). Andrew has actually found 4 or 5 of them at the scrap yard, which has worked out wonderfully for me. Last night my Mom and I decopauged some of them, which greatly improved the overall look. The polka dot one in the middle is my favorite from the last night's bunch, and the cute pink and green collaged one up at the top was a personalized creation of the wonderful Wendy Lady :o) This collection has moved around quite a bit in this home, but I think it's gonna stick on this wall. Lots of room to grow, but enough focus to catch your attention when I see it. It really fills up that big empty blue space I had going. Dylan even noticed it this morning. It was cute to watch him just stand and stare at it for about a minute. That kid doesn't miss a thing.
